## DESCRIPTION
As an Accounting Specialist, you will be expected to use your strong analytical and problem solving skills in order to understand and balance both general ledger and Demand Deposit Account (DDA), prepare balance sheet reconciliation and clear exception items. You will work on various MS Excel spreadsheets and key data into an automated system and verify accuracy. Beyond carrying out the fundamental tasks in this role, you will work independently to meet your goals but be part of a team; reporting to a team manager. You will need to be adaptable and flexible to the environment and the needs of the business to include changes in policies, procedures and processes from time to time. In order to be successful in this position, you will receive training, coaching and support from facilitators and managers who are very knowledgeable of the business. A college degree, preferably in accounting is required or 2-5 years reconciliation or accounting experience. Also required: Strong Excel and Communication Skills.
