Summary:Assists the registered nurse in providing care for a defined group of patients under the direction of the RN. Provides nursing care to promote recovery, prevent illness and assist patients and families to reach optimal health.
Education:In addition to the skills normally obtained through completion of a High School education, certification program or related experience is necessary.
Experience:Minimum of one year in an acute care setting. Experience in an outpatient clinical setting including direct contact with patients. Must be experienced in word-processing software, as well as possess a working knowledge of medical terminology.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
