Summary: Under the direction of the Manager of Assessment and Access. ED Clinicians will assess and provide referral to patients and their families in our Emergency Departments for all CCHP Behavioral services. If CCHP Behavioral services are not deemed necessary, ED Clinicians will provide outpatient, addiction or step down referrals for patients and families as necessary. ED Clinician dispositions are based on bio-psycho-social assessments as well as utilizing communication skills to seek information as necessary from providers, community mental health organizations and families to best serve our patients and which will enable the ED Clinician to identify problems related to the total well being of the patient.
Education: Broad knowledge of social work and clinical practices, Masters Degree required.
Experience: One year psychiatric experience is required, preferably in Emergency Services.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
