Summary: Serves as the primary contact for customer support for the desktop and enterprise wide systems as determined by Information Technology Department. Provides first level technical support for problem call resolution on a multitude of IT supported platforms and support IT applications. Triage calls for immediate problem call resolution. Coordinates the follow up action, if needed. Documents the entire problem solving sequence. Ensures effective communication of changes and updates to existing information's systems technical architecture stated by the direction of the Technical Support Team and the Desktop Services guidelines.Excellent in analytic skills and ability to plan and organize work. Teaching skills considered a plus. Back up the Help Desk In-take Coordinator duties. Outstanding verbal and excellent writing skills; able to communicate effectively on the phone; ability to deal effectively with people and elicit support from other department areas and users; excellent planning, problem solving, analysis and research skills.
Education:Associates degree desired. High School diploma required with some college/additional training preferred in Information Technology.
Experience:Minimum of 1-2 years hospital experience, preferably in hospital information systems department or as hospital technology user. Must have excellent customer service skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of all Microsoft Office product and/or Microsoft Operating Systems (including Access) required. Must demonstrate appropriate time management skills and the ability to meet customer service deadlines. Must have working knowledge of MEDITECH applications in order to handle user access issues.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
