Job Details:
The Medical Assistant assists doctors and nurses in efficient/correct patient care.
Responsibilities include putting patients into examination rooms.
Obtains histories, medications, blood pressures, weight and vital signs of each patient.
Assist with pap smears and minor surgical procedures when necessary.
Knowledge of computer systems is essential in booking patient appointments and retrieving patient demographic information.
General clerical skills will be utilized.
OBGYN experience a plus.
Must be a certified medical assistant.
