Responsibilities:

Ingests digital assets for workgroup or department following the HCS standard protocols :
Applies file:
level security to ingested assets :
Analyzes and evaluates quality and accuracy of assets during ingest process and overall asset formatting integrity :
Analyzes and evaluates quality and accuracy of metadata; assists in correcting metadata issues :
Assesses and reports on issues with metadata quality, articulating sources of issues and their applicability to departmental operations :
Assists in the tracking and reporting of workflow and productivity :
Works closely with IT department :
Keeps lists of users and their roles up to date
Qualifications:
Necessary Qualities :
Keen eye for detail and recognizing when wrong information is applied to an asset :
Understanding of need for role:
