This strategic leader in Hasbro s Global Operations Organization reports to the VP, Global Logistics and will be responsible for building the infrastructure, capability and network design to support E-Comm growth targets.
Working with all regions, the Sr.
Director will lead the timely execution of the capital plan to support projected E-COMM growth while ensuring Hasbro has the required capacity, technology and infrastructure to support this growth within our distribution network.
This individual will work closely with EU and EMEA regions in ensuring the growth of Vendor Flex program while ensuring operational profitability to Hasbro.
As the single point of contact for all commercial teams you will design an overall fulfillment strategy in maximizing service, margins and fill rates while minimizing our cost to fill.
This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create direct-to-consumer operational connectivity roadmaps across a variety of functions; expanding and evolving capabilities and programs to advance our supply chain.

As Sr.
Director, Global eCommerce Logistics
you will:

  • Have global, end to end remit and lead and direct Hasbro s eCommerce or D2C/B2C strategy to support company s ecommerce growth objectives.
  • Handle relationships with Third Party Vendors, Logistics, Planning, IT, and other groups as needed.
    This position will lead complex issues, identifying key influencers, and realizing a strategy to resolve process gaps while providing the guidance enhance our eCommerce blueprint.

Strategy/Continuous Improvement:

  • Be the logistics and distribution lead for the overall governance and execution of the D2C/B2C fulfillment strategy supporting 3-year growth plans for the company.
    Ensuring that logistics strategy and priorities are aligned with total company strategy and supporting the overall growth strategy of the organization.
  • Plan, advise and implement distribution and logistics operations to meet stated Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements.
  • Own the logistics strategic plan for growth of the D2C/B2C channel; including resource management and technology innovation, to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency throughout operations.
  • Follow industry trends and recommend new opportunities to enhance reliability, speed, and flexibility in D2C/B2C eCommerce orders.

Partners/Program Support:

  • Lead team efforts to run and cultivate strong partnerships with strategic partners and third-party logistics providers to standardize processes and provide a reliable, responsive, and cost-efficient supply chain supporting Hasbro s commercial business efforts.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of all operational processes.
    Support senior management team while providing updates and solutions on issues about business impact.
  • Define, create, and deliver a D2C/B2C vision, business plan, and key objectives around a 12-18-month digital roadmap supporting Hasbro s online platform(s) and digital marketplace(s).
  • Drive scale and service using automation and technology with best-in-class fulfillment solutions.
  • Manage expectations and alignment for the expansion of eCommerce channel capabilities, partnering with other critical, supporting functions to ensure company-wide alignment.

Financial:

  • Develop and lead eCommerce operational analytics, metrics, and processes to provide insight and recommendations for topline and profitability improvement levers; Maintain or improve customer satisfaction levels while also reducing or maintaining efficient cost structures
  • Establish and successfully execute CAPEX (capital plans) to support D2C/B2C targets in each region.
    Lead the development of overall infrastructure and capabilities maximize network capacity and channel profitability.
  • Optimize global transportation model and expertise specific to D2C/B2C fulfillment operation that optimizes both inbound and outbound shipping costs across providers to improve service levels and total costs.
  • Develop and implement annual budgets and financial forecasts, as well as other pertinent metrics and results for each relevant functional area; measure performance, guide improvement, and communicate weekly progress.
  • Be responsible for budgeting and P&L management of eCommerce Operations budget.

People:

  • Provide direction and support to the global distribution regional leaders on the D2C/B2C strategy and execution.
    Coach each region leads on the direct fulfillment strategy to ensure cost, delivery, quality, and productivity objectives are consistently achieved.
  • Support cross-functional counterparts in establishing annual operating plans to deliver D2C/B2C targets by region.
  • Identify standard methodologies, technology, and trends in the D2C/B2C fulfillment to lead the implementation of innovative ideas that drive progress and continuous improvement.

  • Self-starter who can identify new opportunities, analyze a problem, and develop tactics/strategies to drive growth.
  • Proven track record of building partner relationships; influencing, negotiating, and communicating with key partners at all levels.
  • Ability to handle sophisticated issues and identify key influencers; implementing strategy to resolve process gaps and provide leadership and support on global logistics enhancement requests.
  • Proven financial acumen and ability to forecast an annual budget while running operational processes within set guidelines.
  • Experience with and aptitude for levering systems to solve business needs/problems.
  • The ability to pioneer new ideas and create new solutions for processes, systems, and reporting that attribute to cost savings and/or operational improvement opportunities and initiatives.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree required; Master s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated leader with 10-12 years of dynamic distribution and logistics experience within a global organization.
    Prior experience in working with/for 3PL providers or eComm driven companies is highly preferred.
  • Overall experience in handling budgetary responsibility of $100MM-$200MM annually; ideally within D2C/B2C fulfillment.
  • Prior experience leading eCommerce or D2C/B2C fulfillment is required.
    Experience developing overall D2C/B2C network design and optimization strategy highly preferred.
  • Multi-site experience is required.
    Start-up and greenfield experience are highly preferred.
