Summary:
The Information Desk Receptionist greets visitors and vendors in a professional, courteous manner, and provides information as appropriate.
The incumbent handles patient information calls, provides paging services, and performs a variety of general receptionist duties such as screening and directing visitors, receiving packages/mail, and taking messages for physicians.
Trains volunteers, provides back-up at switchboard, and performs other job-related duties as requested.
Specifications:
Graduation from high school required; training in general office procedures and operation of standard office machines and equipment, including basic knowledge of computers.
Must be able to organize own work load and perform job responsibilities in an area where there are noisy conditions with frequent interruptions from visitors.
Proficiency in the English language required.
