Research Care Manager

Summary:
The Research Care Manager provides Social Work services to patients (and potentially their families) to address psycho-social, environmental and behavioral factors which impact on the healthy functioning and/or recovery of the patients and families.
The incumbent functions as a member of the health care team to provide direct clinical social work services including assessment, mental health care planning, and coordination of services using the collaborative care model.
The Clinical Social Worker will provide psychotherapy to pregnant and postpartum people and develop a network of community agencies to facilitate referrals.
S/he will assist in development/implementation of department policies, programs and procedures, and participate in staff development.
Specifications:
A Masters Degree in Social Work.
Licensed as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) required.
Knowledge of current behavioral health systems, billing, and diagnostic criteria required.
Experience in providing therapeutic, brief treatment and intervention techniques preferred.
Perinatal mental health experience preferred.
