We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Travel Agent with sales experience to join our team and assist clients in planning and arranging their travel experiences.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for travel, exceptional customer service skills, a strong sales background, and a deep understanding of various destinations, travel products, and booking procedures.
The Travel Agent will play a crucial role in helping clients create memorable and seamless travel experiences while staying up-to-date with industry trends and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities Client Consultation:
Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and requirements.
Provide expert advice on destination options, transportation, accommodations, activities, and travel insurance.
Itinerary Planning:
Design customized travel itineraries that align with clients' interests and preferences.
Combine various components such as flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, and activities to create comprehensive and enjoyable travel plans.
Booking and Reservation:
Utilize booking systems and tools to secure flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
Ensure accuracy in booking details and confirmations, while coordinating complex multi-stop itineraries.
Product Knowledge:
Stay informed about the latest travel trends, destinations, attractions, and services.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the travel industry to offer the best options and recommendations to clients.
Client Communication:
Maintain open and clear communication with clients throughout the travel planning process.
Address any concerns, answer questions, and provide timely updates on travel arrangements.
Problem Solving:
Handle unexpected changes or issues related to clients' travel plans, such as flight delays, cancellations, or changes in itinerary.
Work proactively to find suitable solutions and minimize disruptions.
Sales and Promotion:
Utilize your sales expertise to promote travel packages, deals, and special offers to clients.
Skillfully upsell additional services, upgrades, or amenities to enhance the overall travel experience.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, travel plans, bookings, and payments.
Ensure all necessary documentation is properly organized and accessible.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other travel partners to ensure smooth execution of travel arrangements.
Build and maintain positive relationships within the industry.
Administrative Tasks:
Complete administrative duties, including processing payments, issuing travel documents, and managing invoices.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience as a Travel Agent or in a related customer service role is preferred.
Sales experience is a requirement for this position.
Product Knowledge:
Strong understanding of travel destinations, products, and services.
Familiarity with various booking platforms and reservation systems.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to actively listen to clients' needs and effectively convey information.
Customer Service:
Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.

Languages:
Proficiency in additional languages may be advantageous for serving diverse client needs.
Required Skills:
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Must have a valid Driver's License with no major moving violations in the last 5 years.
