Director of Revenue Operations

Position Overview:
The Director of Revenue Operations role plays a crucial role in the overall success of the Go-To-Market organization.
It is the role of the Director of Revenue Operations to lead cross-functional initiatives, leverage data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and maximize revenue potential.
This role will build and maintain scalable sales, Marketing, and CS engines.
The Director will be tasked with optimization of the CRM and entire GTM tech stack to ensure it is setup to execute a data-driven strategy and effective Revenue Generation processes.
The Director will also play a key role in supporting the overall growth efforts of the Company and work cross-functional to lead or assist on important projects, and provide insights that allow management to make strategic decisions within the sales department.
Key
Responsibilities:
1.
Strategic Planning and Execution:

Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute revenue growth strategies, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.

Develop and implement scalable and efficient processes across the entire revenue cycle.
2.
Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance teams to align processes, systems, and goals for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

Foster a collaborative culture that encourages open communication and knowledge sharing across departments.
3.
Insights Generation:

Utilize data analytics and business intelligence tools to generate actionable insights into customer behavior, market trends, and product performance.

Develop a deep understanding of customer journeys to inform targeted marketing, sales, and customer success strategies.
4.
Revenue Generation Optimization:

Foster strong collaboration between Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to enhance lead genera0on, conversion rates, and customer acquisition, retention, and upsell opportunities.

Optimize sales and marketing processes to maximize the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.

Work closely with Customer Success teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Implement data-driven strategies to enhance customer onboarding, engagement, and long-term value.
5.
Revenue Analytics and Reporting:

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of revenue-generating functions.

Track, analyze and create monthly executive reporting data to include the following metrics:
pipeline growth, quota attainment, win/loss rate, sales team performance.

Own end-to-end process of tracking operational metrics from lead creation to churn.

Provide regular, data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

Technology Stack Management:

Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of revenue-related technologies, including CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools.

Ensure seamless integration between systems to create a unified view of the customer journey.
Background and
Qualifications:

Proven track record of success in revenue operations leadership roles within the SaaS industry.

Strong understanding of the Education Technology sector and the unique challenges and opportunities within it.

Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing scalable processes and systems.

Experience leading operations for both marketing and sales teams.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.

Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in revenue operations or a related field.

Proven success in driving revenue growth for a early stage SaaS company, preferably in the Education Technology sector.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
