Responsibilities:

Under direction of the Engineering Manager, manage the overall project and technical development efforts of multiple products ensuring quality, cost and schedule adherence.
:
Perform technical feasibility assessment on new product concepts.
:
Manage the engineering design of new parts and products.
:
Collaborate with development team, including Design, Marketing and various technical supports groups.
:
Complete product specifications packages and detailed engineering documentation for products (including regional variants.
) :
Lead communication with internal and external cross:
functional teams, including domestic and overseas development counterparts and manufacturing vendors, on all product engineering related topics.
:
Perform preliminary cost estimates and manage cost throughout the product development process to ensure product cost delivers on required profit goals.
:
Generate engineering related project schedules based on product complexity, performance objectives and reliability requirements.
:
Review engineering pilot samples and support domestic and Far East manufacturing vendors to debug new parts and products.
:
Actively seek ways to continually improve design efficiencies and/or processes while meeting or exceeding established industry quality standards.
:
Work directly with and travel to domestic manufacturing facilities throughout the development process as needed.
:
Actively seek ways of improving design efficiencies and/or processes while meeting or exceeding established industry quality standards.

Proven ability to multitask, prioritize projects and contribute effectively in a team environment.

Ability to collaborate with and effectively influence cross:
