As a professional in the government consulting field, you understand how to effectively support states undertaking expansive IT development and implementation projects.
The Opportunity
First Data's Government Solutions Team is seeking a highly motivated professional candidate who will function as our team's primary technical resource, responsible for reviewing and guiding the technical aspects of the Child Support Modernization project for the State of Rhode Island.
The selected candidate must possess strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal. The candidate must have a high-level of expertise pertaining to Child Support, Process and System Modernization and Organization Change Management.
The First Data Government Solutions philosophy is to hire experienced, motivated individuals to join and develop the company organization; not just to fulfill specific projects roles. Therefore, while the first engagement would be specific to this State of Rhode Island opportunity, your next engagement could be on a Health Insurance Exchange implementation project, or even an IV&V; effort on an EBT solutions program.
You must be willing to travel to the State of Rhode Island to for this specific engagement, and beyond that, to other locations dependent on the needs of the organization at the time this project concludes.

# Candidate Requirements
Five (5) or more years of experience as Technical Consultant
Bachelor's Degree
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Visio & Adobe Acrobat.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to plan and facilitate presentations and client meetings, and guide the First Data and client Teams in developing required deliverables and work products
Capability and willingness to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, shifts in direction and priorities, both from a client and internal perspective
