Responsibilities:
As an experienced purchasing supervisor, you will be responsible for all materials acquisitions including office supplies. Schedule in & out bound shipments through a third party logistic company. This role is key in supporting management team with inventory control, usage analysis and cost efficiencies. Great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment are essential.
Purchasing/Logistics Duties:
o Maintain Raw Material Usage and run Raw Demand reports needed for analysis.
o Weekly review of raw materials, noting specific peak or slow periods.
o Expedite and defer deliveries as needed to maintain right level of stock.
o Maintain and update quarterly all vendors list.
o Negotiate and update vendor price list.
o Weekly physical inventory review of production supplies.
o Responsible for all other purchases including office, cleaning and first aid supplies.
o Review specifications of all items we purchase to meet Colonial Mills standards.
o Responsible for Inventory including adjustments, physical and valuation.
o Knowledgeable of 5S and Lean philosophy.
Overall objectives: Maintain right level of raw material inventory, Decrease cost of goods sold, Improve inventory turns, Improve deliveries.
Purchasing/Logistics Skills and
Qualifications:
Purchasing, Understanding Logistics, Inventory Control, Negotiation, APICS/CPIM a plus, Attention to Detail, 5S, Professionalism, Microsoft Office Skills (at least at intermediate level), Self-starter, Teamwork, bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) is plus but not required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
