Summary: We're looking for a responsible individual with a positive, professional, and fun attitude who will possess a professional demeanor and strong work ethic. This Project Manager will work part of the time in our Clients' sites (predominantly in Providence area) and part of the time from home. As a contributor within a collaborative team, the Project Manager's mission is to provide coordination, ensure project/site locations/budget/milestones are on track, ensure Clients are happy and satisfied, and to be a liaison between our Clients, our Technicians, external Vendors, external Contractors, and our internal Team. The successful PM will have a strong understanding of network infrastructures and technology deployment.
Our PM's lead several concurrent projects with the highest standards in delivery, customer service and expertise. Our PM's build long term, close working, Client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for our Client. Our Client's continue to rely upon us for their technology needs year after year. This position will take on large roll-out projects, and will need the drive and initiative to learn our business and Clients quickly. Standard hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, however the successful PM will be willing and able to meet Client needs/demands no matter what day or time it is, and will be comfortable working 40
hours per week (at Client site and home office) to meet those needs.
What the Project Manager will do:
Maximize efficiency and cost savings for the project; ensure it runs smoothly
Perform quality control checks and site visits; ensure project milestones and expectations are met
Direct the work of the Technician Team; provide project related training
Build and maintain professional working relationships with Client, internal Team, and Contractors
Ensure a high level of service and quality of work is performed and exceeds Client's expectations
Communicate with and delegate to/guide the Project Team on all project items - status, scheduling, materials, needs, issues, reporting, etc
Ensure compliance to Safety standards and Company policies and procedures
The successful Project Manager will bring to the position:

years experience managing or coordinating technology deployment / network infrastructure projects (can be as a Project Coordinator or Lead Technician or Foreman) - REQUIRED
1
years low voltage technical knowledge, especially in installation and deployment (field experience) - REQUIRED
Intermediate skills in Windows and MS Office - utilizing Excel for project, labor and materials tracking - REQUIRED
A high level of organizational, people, communication, and professionalism skills and business etiquette - REQUIRED
Knowledge of managing and directing the work of others without being the Supervisor (indirect Associates or Peers) - REQUIRED
Reliable transportation, clean driving record (less than 3 points), and current valid driver license (must be able to drive to project locations in/around Providence area) - REQUIRED
2 or 4 year degree in Business, Operations or Project Management (or relevant field) - PREFERRED
The successful Project Manager will be able to:
Travel around the North-East area for project visits, quality visits, site surveys, and key installations
Quickly and effectively make decisions aligned with our business and culture
Work a flexible schedule to meet the Client's needs - includes evenings, overnights, and weekends
This is a direct hire, full time opportunity; compensation includes base salary
