Leasing Assistant/Front Desk

The Leasing Assistant is a community relations representative whose primary duties are to greet current and potential tenants, to present professionally the features and benefits of Kingstown Crossings I & II and to properly secure lease agreements from qualified applicants.
The Leasing Assistant is very service oriented and strives to make current residents feel welcome and comfortable in their community. The Leasing Assistant will contact a person of authority should any situation warrant an action or decision not included in his or her duties and responsibilities.

Duties and
Responsibilities:
Advocates for the mission of the organization and promotes the vision and direction of the agency's values
Maintains a professional, yet friendly, atmosphere in the leasing office and other areas where prospective residents and current residents meet.
Answers incoming phone calls and handles each call accordingly, whether it is a client call, irate resident, service request, etc. Transfer calls to appropriate staff, when needed.
Greets prospective residents, qualifies, determines needs and preferences, and professionally presents community and specific apartments while communicating features and benefits.
With Leasing Coordinator, actively coordinate all recertifications /renewals throughout the month. This includes sending letters (90, 60, 30 days) and scheduling resident appointments to discuss renewal rates and leasing options.
Correctly completes all lease applications, assists with application verification and notifies prospective residents of results. Word processes miscellaneous resident communication as needed.
Accepts rents and deposits.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
