HVAC TECHNICIAN (Food Manufacturing)

Our client is a rapidly growing international manufacturer of chilled and frozen foods in the Providence RI area. Based on growth, they are looking to hire 2 experienced HVAC Technicians with prior manufacturing experience to maintain all their central refrigeration and HVAC equipment in the plant, including the boiler and physical plant systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
o Operation, maintenance and monitoring for the central refrigeration plant in a safe and efficient manner.
o Operation and monitoring of HVAC systems and equipment.
o Operation and monitoring of steam boilers and auxiliary equipment.
o Operation and monitoring of the waste water system
o Monitor, control and perform chemical analysis for boilers, cooling tower, and waste water system.
o Maintain shift operating logs and records
o Perform regular equipment rounds, taking critical readings from pressure gauges, temperature indicators, meters and other instruments
o Perform corrective and P/M of Building equipment.
o Follow safe working practices and maintain environmental awareness identifying hazards and taking corrective action as approved
o Ability to tolerate confined spaces, heights, climb ladders, use lifts, lift equipment and carry materials up and down stairs with the capacity of lifting 50 pounds
o This position may require rotating shift assignment to support plant operations as assigned.
QUALIFICATION
Must have at least High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Prefer candidates that have MANUFACTURING experience and experience working in the food or life science environment is preferred
The ideal candidate will have a HVAC / Refrigeration License and or Stationary Engineer/Boiler License
Must have at least 3-5 years' HVAC experience with the operation and maintenance of: AC, Air Handlers, Fan Coil Units, VAV Boxes etc.
Prefer candidates that have experience working with ammonia chiller systems and centrifugal compressors.
Must be familiar with:
Maintenance of boilers and equipment associated with steam, feedwater, condensate, compressed air, and hot water distribution systems.
Electrical Systems for equipment operation.
Plant and Building Management System
Computerized Maintenance Management System, P/M Programs and WO's.
Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
