Supply Chain Coordinator


The Greysmith Companies is currently searching for a Supply Chain Coordinator for a growing client. The ideal candidate will be looking for a long term position that provides an excellent career path within a stable organization. This organization is expanding rapidly and this role will provide excellent training and mentoring towards a Supply Chain Career.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for preparing, reviewing, processing and placing purchase orders as directed by Supply Chain Team.
Ensure all purchase order confirmations are received accurately and are logged into the ERP system used.
Perform administrative functions such as scheduling meetings and execute miscellaneous data extraction in ERP system.
Investigate discrepancies with all orders to resolve delivery and invoicing issues.
Monitor open orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure delivery is on time.
Track and maintain inventory, perform month end reconciliation, monitor the aging of inventory, and make appropriate recommendations.
Interact with the various departments including Shipping & Receiving, Sales, Accounting, and Customer Service.

Requirements:

Undergraduate degree required. Supply Chain or Operations Majors are a large plus
Ability to multi task, deal with multiple critical issues at one time, and see through to completion in a timely fashion.
Willingness to work hand in hand with sales and customer service, providing the assistance and information they require in a positive and timely fashion.
Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
